Stacey Butler is currently a PhD student at the University of Toronto. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Toxicology and Master of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. Stacey then received a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Research from Humber College and has worked with the Respiratory Research team at West Park since 2016. While completing her Masters, Stacey realized she was much more interested in working with patients than in a lab working on cells. She decided to apply her background in cancer research to study lung cancer and chronic respiratory diseases. Stacey grew up in a small town and is passionate about improving healthcare outreach to rural areas.
