Single-leg cycling training

Single-leg cycling training for people with pulmonary fibrosis

Single Leg training on bicycle

We know that single-leg training is effective for people with COPD and now we want to find out if the same is true for people with pulmonary fibrosis. If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to complete cycle exercise training three (3) times a week for eight (8) weeks. You will be randomly selected to complete the training using one leg at a time or both legs. If you have pulmonary fibrosis and will be attending the outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program at West Park, this study is for you!

If you are interested in participating or learning more about this study, please contact Ana Oliveira at 416-243-3600 ext. 2518 or Ana.Oliveira@westpark.org
