Assistive devices

An assistive device to improve physical performance in patients with very severe chronic respiratory disease

Assistive Device

We are looking for people to undergo a series of walking tests with and without a powered exoskeleton device to see if the assistive device enables people with severe respiratory disease to walk further or for a longer time. For this study, you will be asked to complete two (2) sessions per week for six (6) weeks during which you will be asked to walk as far as possible with and without the exoskeleton.

If you are interested in participating or learning more about the study, please contact Tom Dolmage at 416-243-3600 ext. 2185 or Thomas.Dolmage@westpark.org
