Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005

The Ontario government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in 2005. It is the goal of the government of Ontario to make Ontario accessible by 2025. West Park Long-Term Care Centre, which is managed by Extendicare (Canada) Inc. is committed to complying with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and all of the standards under it in order to meet the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner. 

The multi-year plan below outlines West Park Long-Term Care Centre's strategy to prevent and remove barriers to address the current and future requirements of the AODA, and in order to fulfill our commitment as outlined in Extendicare (Canada) Inc.’s Accessibility Policies.
