COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION

HEALTH AND MEDICAL BENEFITS
West Park provides a comprehensive benefits program to all eligible employees. These benefits range from prescription drugs and vision care, to dental and therapy services. In addition, employees are able to contribute to the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP). West Park employees also can access the on-site wellness services provided by Rehab Plus, which will submit claims to extended health insurance on employees’ behalf so they are reimbursed quickly.

West Park Healthcare Centre is committed to the physical and emotional well-being of its employees. To assist staff in times of crisis and stress, we have retained an outside firm to provide voluntary, confidential counselling services in a wide variety of areas to staff and their immediate family.

To encourage life-long learning among employees, we provide real opportunities and incentives for ongoing learning and knowledge-building. We offer a variety of competitive tuition bursary and loan programs to help staff meet their educational and professional development pursuits.

A TEACHING FACILITY
Affiliated with post-secondary institutions such as the University of Toronto and Humber College, West Park is committed to training tomorrow’s healthcare professionals. Professionally supervised student training and education opportunities exist in nursing, respiratory and rehabilitative medicine, respiratory therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, recreation therapy, pharmacy and health administration.
