Visiting

• Visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• There is a limit of 2 visitors at the bedside. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
• Under some circumstances, visitor restrictions may be required (i.e. outbreaks).

Physical Distancing & Consumption of Food

• When eating or drinking, physically distance to the extent possible and reapply masks immediately after. Visitors are reminded to eat in the cafeteria only and not in patient rooms.

Patient Leaves of Absence

• All Leave of Absences (LOAs) must be approved by the medical team.

How you can help us prevent infection

The most important ways you can help us prevent infections and illnesses from spreading in our hospitals are:

• Self-screening for signs of illness before coming to our hospitals
• Washing your hands before, during and after your visits

Smoke-free & scent-free

UHN is a smoke-free and scent-free organization. We ask that all visitors refrain from personal scented products while at our hospitals. Smoking is not permitted within 9 metres of all entrances.
