Christopher Henley

Mr. Henley is the founder and President of Henley Capital Corporation, a registered Exempt Market Dealer and Portfolio Manager. He has spent over 30 years in industry and investment banking financing and advising public and private companies covering the full range of industry sectors and market capitalizations and was formerly an officer at three of Canada’s largest investment banking firms. 

Mr. Henley serves on a number of charitable, industry and public and private company boards and is currently Chair of West Park Healthcare Centre in Toronto and Chair of the McMichael Canadian Art Foundation and is a board member of Transition Therapeutics Inc. and the Governance Committee of OCREB at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Mr. Henley has also served as Chair of the Judging Panel of the Canadian Software and IT Services Industry Awards, was a founding Co-Chair of the Premier’s Technology Dinner in Ontario, a founding member of the Ministers Technology Advisory Group for the Province of Ontario and a founding 100 member of the National Angel Organization in Canada. He is a former board member and Chair of the Toronto Port Authority, a former board member of the Exempt Market Dealers Association of Canada, a former director of Ontario Transport Capital Corporation -- the developer of Highway 407, the first all-electronic highway in the world; and a past member of the Advisory Board, Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University of Newfoundland. Mr. Henley is also actively involved in a number of annual charitable events and is a founding director and Vice-Chair of the Future Focus Foundation and the Smiling Land Foundation.

Mr. Henley holds a B.A. from Memorial University, an MBA from Dalhousie University and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management in Toronto. In 2006, Mr. Henley received the internationally recognized professional designation, ICD.D.
