Awards and Honours

Leaders in many areas of rehabilitative care because we are never satisfied with the status quo

We imagine better ways to deliver the best patient outcomes. While we’re leaders in many areas of rehabilitative care we’re never satisfied with the status quo.

That commitment to discovering new ways to do what we do better has garnered numerous awards and honours. We are grateful for this recognition, but ultimately judge our success by how successful we are at helping patients get their lives back.

West Park Begins Accreditation Process with Great Success

As you may be aware, the Centre’s Accreditation Survey took place June 6– 8, 2022 and focused exclusively on the Governance and Leadership standards – the remainder of standards will be evaluated in 2024 as Part 2 of the survey.

Within the two standards, there is a focus on 10 priority processes. The accreditation process requires that we provide evidence that we are meeting the high expectations required to satisfy each standard. The Accreditation Surveyors reviewed evidence and conducted virtual meetings with patients, family members, community partners, staff, medical staff, and senior leaders to verify standards are being met.

We are delighted to report that we have met all 227 criteria against which we have been assessed. On behalf of the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team, we thank all of our partners for participating in our accreditation survey process. We deeply value our relationship with each of you as partners and look forward to continued collaboration as we come together to meet the unique needs of our community.

We look forward to the next phase (Part 2) of our accreditation survey in 2024 when we will receive our final accreditation standing.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
