West Park honours its volunteers at an annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony held during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. Long service volunteers are recognized for their dedication to the centre and to helping the lives of our patients and residents.

Recreation Centre Wide	Hearts to Art Photography and painting Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m. Time for one to one artwork is flexible. Music with Mrs. Tong Tuesdays 1:30 - 3:15 p.m. Community Recreation Outings Occasional Thursdays, time varies Special Events Day and time varies Bingo Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:15 p.m. Happy Chefs Tuesdays 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. One to One Computer Day and time varies Music Appreciation - Research Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. - Noon Gardening May - day and time to be announced Coffee House Mondays 6:30-8:30 p.m. Pub Night Tuesdays 6:30-8:15 p.m.
Rehabilitation	Current Events Wednesdays, 9:45-11:15 a.m. Current Events 2-East A Wednesdays, 9:45-11:15 a.m. Carpentry Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m. Gross Motor Group 2-East A Fridays, 10-11 a.m. Escort Escort Rehabilitation Patients to appointments in community - day/time varies Neurological Rehabilitation Wed. and Thurs. 9:15-12 Noon Tues. and Wed. 1-3p.m. (May) Complex Continuing Care Gym Wednesdays 1-3 p .m.
Nursing Units	Feeding Breakfast: 8-9 a.m. Primarily Lunch hour: 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Dinner: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Chaplaincy	Sunday Worship Service Protestant Service 9-10:30 a.m. Roman Catholic Mass 10-12 noon. Hymn Sing Thursdays 10:20 a.m. to Noon
Voices & Visits	One to one Leisure Activities With residents - Ask for further information. Sign Language Volunteer to help resident practice sign language - day and time flexible
