Syd Collier Loss of limb due to motorcycle accident

Syd Collier :
Entrepreneur, foundation donor and volunteer

Syd lost his leg in a serious motorcycle accident. When he came to West Park, Syd was fitted with a prosthesis and, after therapy as a patient of our Amputee Rehabilitation Service, was back running his business, riding his bike and living life to the fullest again. He now supports West Park through an annual gift and has helped the foundation’s campaign efforts as a volunteer.

Our Donors

Helping patients and residents live life to the fullest.

Our donors are very special people.

They give hope to people living with chronic lung disease by supporting clinical research and patient education. They provide a new and welcoming home for at-risk seniors in our community by supporting long-term care. They provide ongoing opportunities for our nursing staff to enhance their skills for the benefit of patients and residents.

Our donors are people like you. Someone who firmly believes that good health care starts with warm hearts, strong minds and a desire to set high standards in everything we do.

At West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation, we value the friendship of our supporters and recognize donors in special ways. From an annual recognition ceremony to naming opportunities for those able to make major gifts, we believe that donors are partners in health care who deserve a very special thanks for helping patients and residents live life to the fullest.

The West Park Spark newsletter is dedicated to the donors who help us help our patients. Click here to download the Winter 2007 edition.
