Once his injuries sustained in an accident began to heal, Jeffrey needed someone to put him back on his feet. West Park became his second home where he made friendships with therapists who cared about him.
Our Mission
West Park Healthcare Centre Foundation serves as the official fundraising vehicle of West Park Healthcare Centre. The foundation’s mission is to support West Park by providing funds for the centre to cover areas of patient services, special programs for patients, education and research, program development, equipment purchases as well as construction and renovation of physical facilities that aren’t paid for by the provincial government. Continuous fundraising and major campaign activities enable the foundation to help people every day – people like you, your friends, family and neighbours.

Whether we’re helping someone learn to walk again after a stroke or car accident, or providing a caring and warm environment for a frail senior or someone with a chronic disability, West Park Healthcare Centre helps patients and residents live the fullest lives possible. The centre’s specialized rehabilitation, complex continuing and long-term care services are designed to help patients and residents achieve their goals.
But we can’t do it alone. Although the centre receives operating funds from the provincial government, the foundation counts on generous individuals and corporations to fund research and education, patient care technology and renovated facilities to improve the lives of patients and residents.
