| Qualifications | - Diploma in Nursing
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of medication administration course
- Previous work experience with non-invasive wound dressings within the last year
- Previous experience with medical, surgical, CVA, neurological, MSK and orthopaedic required
- Experience with MOEMAR within the last year
- Experience working with and caring for geriatric patients.
- Current medication administration experience required
- Excellent assessment and clinical skills
- Demonstrated ability in providing patient-focused care
- Experience with EPR on-line documentation
- Good knowledge of computer technology
- Proven ability to make decisions and manage workload in a fast-paced work environment
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with others including patients and their families
- Evidence of good performance history and attendance record
- Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of West Park: Excellence, Respect, Trust, Collaboration and Accountability
