| Qualifications | - Diploma in Nursing
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of medication administration course
- Previous work experience with non-invasive wound dressings within the last year
- Current experience with MOEMAR, EPR documentation, musculoskeletal, medical, general surgical, trauma, neurological and orthopaedic required
- Medication administration experience required
- Excellent assessment and clinical skills required to care for patients 3-4 days post-operatively
- Demonstrated ability in providing patient-focused care
- Good knowledge of computer technology
- Proven ability to make decisions and manage workload in a fast-paced work environment
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with others including patients and their families
- Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of West Park: Excellence, Respect, Trust, Collaboration and Accountability
- Should be aware of conditions and measures that may affect the safety of patients, residents, students, employees, volunteers, physicians and visitors
