| Qualifications | - Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS
- Experience in medical, general surgical, neurological and stroke required
- Experience with PICC line/VAC therapy and wound care required.
- Capable of independent decision-making with regard to implementing nursing specific treatments
- Experience with Stroke / Neurological, Orthopaedic, MOEMAR, PICC Lines
- Working with Geriatric patients, MSK CVA, General Surgical experience
- Knowledge of working with MS patients, IV, G-J/tube feeding
- Computer literate
- Excellent assessment and clinical skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated skill in providing patient focused care
- Demonstrated leadership skills including creative problem solving, sound judgement and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated skill in reflective practice
- Effective communication skills including conflict resolution
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
